Subject: Install problems Ubuntu 7.10 server
Hello everybody, Not a strictly enomalism issue, but perhaps someone have encountered it as well
Followed the instructions for 7.10 install, but mysql-server dies with "4967 Segmentation fault" on a brand new installation on a enomalism test-box (. Have reinstalled/purged/autoclean/ and reinstalled mysql-server with same error.

Go google and found several issues with the 5.0.45-1ubuntu3.3 packages, have ensured the mysql user is created etc. but still no luck.

Have anyone else seen this before?
Thanks in advance,
Mikael

Mikael,
This is likely a problem with Xen + TLS. To resolve, move /lib/tls to /lib/tls.disabled.

See the following link for more information.
